Staff holidays and shared parental leave
Occasionally I come across articles that might be of interest. These are two that I noticed in the Sunday Times.
Staff sick on holiday can take extra leave
RD writes: I have an employee who took a week off work on holiday. However, she says she was ill for three days and claims that she is entitled to reclaim these as extra holidays. She has never informed me and I have no proof that she was ill. Where do I stand and how do I ensure I never face this problem again?
